Clinical interests

Interventional cardiology, cardiovascular care and preventive health, and patient education that turns medical advice into practical choices families can act on at home.

Why he wrote this book

Much of his teaching is aimed at patients and families. Nearly every consultation ends with food, and the question he hears most is not why but what: what exactly to eat for breakfast tomorrow, how much dal, and whether eating well means giving up the taste of home.

Protein-Rich India is his answer: 100 definite, regional, home-style recipes with clear quantities and honest nutrition numbers.

This is a nutrition-focused cookbook written by a medical professional. It is not a substitute for individual medical care, and the recipes do not treat or prevent any disease.
